Terms of Service

Last updated 2026-07-13. These terms are an agreement between you and Praethos LLC. By creating an account you accept them.

The service

ProTradesman provides AI-generated answers and reference images for trade and jobsite questions, plus bid-generation tools on eligible plans. You must be at least 18 and use the service for lawful trade work.

AI answers are informational

Answers are generated by AI and can be incomplete or wrong. They are provided for information, not as engineering, legal, or code-official determinations. The authority having jurisdiction always has final say, and you remain responsible for your own work, permits, and inspections. Verify anything safety-critical against the governing code, the manufacturer’s instructions, or your AHJ before relying on it. You can report any answer in the app; we review every report.

Subscriptions, renewal, and the guarantee

Plans bill monthly or annually and renew automatically at the price shown at checkout until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account; cancellation stops the next renewal. New subscriptions carry a 7-day money-back guarantee: email support@protradesman.app within 7 days of your first invoice and we refund it in full, monthly or annual. Refunds land back on your card in 5 to 10 business days.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to generate content that exploits or harms anyone (categorically including anything that sexualizes or endangers children), to plan harm or crime, to harass, to create deceptive materials such as forged inspection documents or fake credentials, to probe or overload the service, or to resell access. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

Your content

You keep ownership of the questions and photos you submit. You give us the license needed to process them to run the service (including the AI processing described in the Privacy Policy). Reference images we generate for you may be reused within the product.

Partners program

The invite-only partners program has its own terms shown on the partner dashboard, including commission rates, maturation, clawback on refunds, and payout requirements.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided as is. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Praethos LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination, changes, and law

You can delete your account anytime (see how to delete). We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. These terms are governed by Colorado law. Contact: support@protradesman.app.
